Stephanie is a graduate from the Vancouver College of Massage Therapy. Stephanie enjoys treating various neurological disorders using a gentle whole body approach; for chronic migraine, headaches, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, various head traumas, PTSD, anxiety disorders and trauma resolution. Each patient is given an individualized treatment plan with the goal to provide pain relief, relaxation and a feeling of increased well-being.
Stephanie recently visited Santiago, Chile for a CST course in February 2017. She has decided to further her knowledge in this practice by enrolling in the Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy two-year program with Body intelligence. Stephanie is passionate about CST and enjoys using this modality in her daily practice.
Craniosacral therapy (CST) is a gentle, non-invasive, hands on treatment that supports physical, mental and emotional wellbeing. CST is performed on a massage table, the client is fully clothed and the touch is light and still, allowing the body to gently adjust within it's own limits. CST is known to have a profound effect on balancing the nervous system as well as resolving traumatic experience held in the tissues of the body. Trauma occurs when our nervous system is overwhelmed beyond our ability to respond. In some case this can cause tension in the body and further contribute to illness and injury.
